About Smart Utilities
Smart Utilities was created to offer Southern Albertans a local, reliable, and affordable utility provider. As a branch of Energy Smart Canada, we wanted to make sure that people switching to renewable energy solutions had a utility provider that was looking out for them and their unique energy needs. 
Energy Smart Canada has been serving Southern Alberta since 2001, delivering solar, geothermal, and water-saving solutions to homeowners and businesses looking for smarter, more efficient ways to live.
We started with a simple goal of making green energy more accessible, and have now grown into a trusted name in the industry. Our goal has always been to help people live more comfortably, reduce their living costs, and become better stewards of the environment, all at once.
As we celebrate 25 years in business, we remain grounded in the values that started it all: practical solutions, honest service, and a commitment to doing what’s right for our customers. Smart Utilities allows us to extend that philosophy even further, delivering dependable, long-term support well beyond installation day.
